Welcome to my Easy to Food Around blog!

The encouragement I have received from friends and family has inspired me to start this page as a way to document my food adventures both inside the kitchen and out on the town.

Over the past few years, I have had the pleasure of sampling the wonderful foods around the Bay Area and across the world. The infinite dining options and exposure to new flavors have not only nurtured an admiration for food and culinary creators, but has spurred me to tap into my inner chef and learn how to cook for myself and others.

This blog will focus on my culinary reflections, the simplicity and musings of preparing food at home, dining experiences from where I travel, and food trends that may impact our eating habits. As a Californian, the variety of ingredients at my disposal is plentiful and often fresh. Living in such a culturally diverse area as the Bay Area has led me to embrace international cuisines for all its merits.  When possible, my cooking will incorporate local produce when it’s available or in season. I will also share with you the recipes I use, and talk about my inspiration for selecting the recipe. 

Most importantly, delicious food is meant to be shared with others. It can be easy to make and even healthy — sometimes not — but I embrace the occasional indulgences.
